Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk & Talk Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that incorporates walking outdoors while talking with a trained Walk & Talk Therapist.  Research tells us that exposure to natural environments can support in prevention, treatment & rehabilitation of mental health issues.

According to research, spending time in nature helps us relax and think more clearly and is also linked to less anxiety, fewer depression symptoms, and lower stress levels. Natural environments encourage us to use our senses to experience our surroundings. We become more aware of calming sounds like water flowing or birds chirping which provides a welcome relief from everyday stressors.

  • Walk & Talk sessions begin & end at The Wellness Clinic to allow sign in & out

  • Sessions are 50mins in total, the client sets the pace of the walk

  • The path is stroller friendly so babies are very welcome

  • If conditions are unfavourable you will be given the option of an indoor or virtual session
